Love that it’s easy to use and no having to put together unlike most baby items it just comes out of the box add the trash bags and ready to go. I just wish we didn’t have to buy the refill packs are so expensive. I got some arm and hammer refill bags on clearance but didn’t like the diaper pail it went to so when our refill was empty I just put the bag over the empty refill and it works just fine wish I could find more bags that cheap. I think this diaper pail is probably easier than others to use different bags and not have to pay so much for refill bags just have to get the right ones / leave empty ring in .still my fave pail for the price and ease of use

Look no further, seriously! The foot pedal to open the pail is fantastic because you don't have to touch a handle with dirty hands, and it also makes it harder for little ones to have access. The bag lines the whole can, and that combined with the foot pedal means no messes are slipping out into the top or sides of the pail. It makes it easy to clean and also helps to keep the smell to a minimum. The bags are a little trickier to replace than other diaper pails, but this makes it easier to change more frequently without wasting bags. The only complaint I have is that the second we recently purchased from Amazon did come damaged and we think it may have been previously used.

We owned a previous version and did like that better but this product works just fine. Keeps the smell in and is easy to empty. The negative reviews are mostly about how hard it is to push the diaper in. That's bc they are doing it wrong. You simply push the pedal with your foot, gently place the diaper right in the hole and then release the pedal. Once you do that, the diaper falls into the chamber. No need to push at all. Can also use garbage bags in it instead of replacing the expensive cartridges. Just save one empty one and secure the bag with it. Happy diapering!

I bought this product during the pandemic because the lack of toilet paper products on store shelves. It may seem funny or strange to some but it saved my sanity by not having to worry about where to get toilet paper. This product combined with wet wipes or baby wipes has allowed me to stretch toilet paper consumption. Having women in the house, toilet paper goes quickly. It is used every time they use the restroom. Using wet wipes for number "2" use and depositing it in the diaper pail has saved a LOT.Now that I know this, I can use this for emergency preparedness like hurricanes where no facilities are present. I can highly recommend this product...not only for babies :)

I bought this to replace a prior version of the diaper genie that I had bought for our first child eight years ago. The design is much improved - easier to change bags (the old version you had to fold the whole thing open, which often required some jiggering to get it back right), with the convenient carbon filter holder at the top. We had actually tried the far more expensive Skip Hop Nursery Style pail initially as a replacement, but that was a poorly designed POS.
